Act III - The End

As Nora is about to leave the scene, Torvald graps her arm, preventing her evasion.
Torvald: You musn't leave me loveless my little skylark!!! Our love shant end now!
Nora: Torvald, we've just been over this . . . our marriage was 8 years of misery for me.
Torvald: No it wasn't! We've been a happy couple ever since we met. Our lives were destined to live together forever . . . 'til death do us part.
Nora: I spent so much time trying to pay back the money I borrowed from Krogstad for YOUR HEALTH!
Nora turns away, crying her tears away.
And now you're disgusted by me!? After all I've done for you!?! I've stood by your side through the pains and happiness you've felt. I've been the only one to strengthen our relationship, yet you treat me as a foolish idiot knowing nothing about the world. I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU!!!
Torvald: I'll change Nora! I've never noticed since you've never spoken up to me. I've been such a hypocrite who's been caught up by his selfishness that I've forgotten what really matters . . . our love---
Nora quickly turns around and screams as tears roll down her sorrow face, onto the floor.
Nora: I'VE BEEN THE ONLY ONE TO BE THE LOVER AND GIVER!!! YOU'VE DONE NOTHING FOR ME!!! . . . wiping the tears and washed-out-faded makeup off her face.
Nothing. she whispers Nothing at all . . . your little squirrel . . . is gone forever.
As Nora is suddenly about to exit the scene, Torvald pulls out his magnum out of his suit pocket and raises it to Nora. In the exact moment, Dr. Rank rushes in through the door, which he slammed open with all his might from the outside. In a moment's grasp, he flashes out his pistol with furious might against Torvald.
Dr. Rank: Pull the trigger and your life will end--in a single shot.
As Dr. Rank raises the gun unexpectedly against Nora's forehead. He grasps onto her body as they both are exiting the scene. Nora forcefully struggles to talk, yet Dr. Rank is persistent for them both to exit the scene together.
Nora: Dr. Rank! This is unexpected, though your passion to take my love and become one is truly amazing.
Torvald: Nora . . .
Nora: This is the end Torvald. The end.
Rank and Nora exit the scene. Torvald is left in the hallway. Dropping onto his knees and sobs.
Torvald: NORAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Mr. Helmer screams and sobs for Nora, the curtain falls.
